2024 Election Calendar
- March 5, 2024: Presidential Nomination Primary
- August 13, 2024: State Primary Election
- November 5, 2024: General Election
Early voting for each election begins 46 days prior to the election. Waconia residents can absentee vote at City Hall Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 7:30 am - 11:30 am.

Local, state, and national elections are held in even-numbered years. On election day, all polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
NEW FOR 2022:
The City of Waconia is no longer part of a Ward Boundary System. Your polling place may have changed for 2022. The City of Waconia is now divided into three precincts, please view the polling places listed below. If you are unsure of the precinct in which you reside, please consult the City of Waconia Precinct map (link).
